Welcome to my website! I am Muhammad Moghees. My ambition in life is to help people, businesses and governments using software technology and to be at the leading edge of it.
I strive to build my strengths across various verticals of software product development such as design, engineering, human experience etc. My academic training and industrial experience enable me to bring technology closer to people especially in the business space. My work experience ranges from taking the local neighborhood businesses online to delivering on multi-million dollar technology innovation projects at the enterprise level.
I am also enthusiastic about the realm where art meets technology. The more I learn from these two disciplines the more I come to realize how similar some of their core principles are. I try to use algorithms and data sets to meaningfully animate ideas, patterns and connections hidden in the everyday noise of data generated by people and machines.
During my undergraduate final year at the University of Waterloo, I founded a student club - Waterloo Wide Web - to empower the community with the knowledge of web design and development technologies. This was when I first lead a group of people to collaborate and build something from the ground up.
I believe in approaching problems from the first principles standpoint and pursuing smart yet simple solutions.
