This was definitely one of the best projects I worked on so far because it not only provided me with the flexibility to be creative and enhance my technical knowledge of web development but also the opportunity to start a project from drawing board and independently work on it.
I deployed Academica Group Drupal 7 Higher Education content management system on the development server. The website is a mirrored environment of Academica's web products for universities and colleges. It's primarily used for marketing purposes.
As part of this project I learned about a lot of the back end technologies and the open source Drupal ecosystem. I was involved in the development of Flex Slider module which is an image slider for responsive websites.
I proposed ideas and implemented the best ones in regards to information architecture, designing and navigation for a responsive website. I fully configured news, team blogging, social media integration, calendar and academic information system on the sandbox.
